PARTNERSHIPS

As a charity we are always keen on building relationships and forming partnerships to help raise awareness of mental health and showcase the work we are doing in our local community. See below a list of partners associated with Kick Start FC.

The Hub of Hope is the UK’s leading mental health support database. It is provided by national mental health charity, Chasing the Stigma, and brings local, national, peer, community, charity, private and NHS mental health support and services together in one place for the first time.

To date, the Hub of Hope has directed hundreds of thousands of people to life-changing and even life-saving support and it is now the UK’s go-to mental health support signposting tool, with thousands of local, regional and national support groups and services listed.

Through our partnership, those in our local area who seek support for their mental health can be signposted to our services.

The Wiltshire FA is the not-for-profit, governing body of football in Wiltshire. Their role is to grow participation, promote diversity and regulate the game for everyone to enjoy, so whether you're a player, parent, club official or referee the Wiltshire FA want to support and continue to improve your football experience in the county.

The Wiltshire FA deliver services and initiative to develop the game and inspire people to take part in football, making sure there are opportunities For All. We believe football is more than just football. We believe it can unite communities, build relationships and open pathways.

Through our partnership, we are able to be guided by the best safeguarding practices and ensure equality for all. Our volunteers will also be equipped with the tools and knowledge to work with our service users.

Her Game Too is a movement dedicated to tackling sexism and promoting gender equality within the world of sport. Recognising the pervasive challenges faced by women and girls in sport, Her Game Too strives to create an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of gender, can enjoy and participate in sports without fear of discrimination or harassment. Their mission is to raise awareness of the issues women face in football, to celebrate female fans, players, and professionals, and to work alongside clubs, organisations, and governing bodies to foster a supportive and equitable atmosphere.

Through our partnership, we aim to raise awareness of mental health in young girls and women and encourage more females to get involved with football as a tool to maintain positive wellbeing.
