WALKING GROUP

Kick Start FC are pleased to announce that we are opening up our very own Walking Group.  

 

A good walk can do wonders for your mental health and having a group to help support you on these walks is a great way to stay motivated and can also provide the encouragement that might be required to get out in to the fresh air. This also offers people the chance to socialise and meet new people. 

Walking improves self-perception and self-esteem, mood and sleep quality, and it reduces stress, anxiety and fatigue. Physically active people have up to a 30% reduced risk of becoming depressed, and staying active helps those who are depressed recover
